Over the last several weeks since I have been associated with the Yard Sharks they have done more than "just mowing". They done an excellent job of true property services such as tree trimming and removal of excess of unneeded shurbs. They even repaired a damaged fence, all-in-all, the Yard Sharks have completed their tasks accurately and professionally.
I have been using Yard Sharks for several years now. Their pricing is very fair, they are dependable, and very professional. I give Yard Sharks my highest recommendation.

In July, I submitted a request for a clean-up of a cemetery plot at Curtis Cemetery in Weatherford. At age 70 and because I live one-hour away, driving to check on its upkeep was challenging.
Last year I had purchased a non-motor push-mower and a 20-gal watering drum (for potted plants) but neither were ever used. Family members who had volunteered as caretakers were only able to tend to it on occasion.
So I researched various lawn services and selected Yard Sharks—mainly because prices are listed, as well as job frequency: one-time, weekly, biweekly or monthly. Yardsharks has since added seasonal/as needed in the service request link—fantastic.
My ‘unique’ job request was accepted and on 28 July, the workers came out and did a fantastic job—there’s definitely a difference in its overall appearance. They mowed, edged around the stepping stones, plus they pulled weeds within each plot. I also like that a reminder is sent via text/email with date a job will be performed—date(s) are flexible due to weather. Another feature I like is that before & after pictures are posted on the customer portal.

New home owner here. Called Yard Sharks on Thursday for a yard clean up as previous owners had not mowed in quite a while - they gave us a price for the clean up service and came the next day and did an excellent job on lawn at a great price. Will definitely be using Yard Sharks again

Updated review: It has been 9 months since my first experience with Yard Sharks. I am pleased to share that the service and excellent customer service and support has not faltered from day 1. JD, Waylon, Stetson and team are still the best and very engaged in making sure each job is completed to the standards that they have set. They care about their customers and want to make sure that they happy every time! Jennifer in the office is great as well. She will answer your questions, help to get issues resolved and cares about what you are calling about! 10 out 10 I would recommend this company to everybody. If you are on the fence about using them, just do it. You won’t be disappointed!
Hired Yard Sharks for a bi-weekly lawn care services. Communication with JD has been great. They showed up on time, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. It’s not easy to find a lawn care company that can handle a big property efficiently while still delivering great results, but they absolutely did. Extremely dedicated team of landscapers. They have managed to take a very neglected yard and make it absolutely gorgeous trough recommendations and knowledge about plants and trees. Our trees were trimmed, the dead removed and new plants and trees were professionally added to make our yard attractive. This is a work of art and design that JD is and his team did and is continuing to do for us. My husband and I are lucky to find hard working, trustworthy and a friendly company that aims to please its customers. JD and crew tackled my obscenely overgrown yard after all the rains and it looks fantastic. They paid attention to my request to avoid the wildflowers which is awesome so I have cute little tufts of flowers sticking up randomly. Very happy with their service and have them coming out again soon to take down dead trees and limb up my driveway.

JD and his company, Yard Sharks, have been taking care of my lawn work for the last 3 months since I had shoulder surgery. I met JD last year under different circumstances, and was impressed with the professionalism that he provided. When the time came that I needed someone to cover for me, I reached out to JD. He agreed to come by without hesitation and take a look at exactly what I needed. We met up again and JD gave me a very fair price to take care of my work for me. He didn’t have to, knowing that it was just a temp job, but that speaks to the kind of person he is and the business that he runs.
When the time came for work to be done, I’ve got nothing but excellent things to say about his crew. From the advance notice of their arrival, thru the work itself and the time it’s done in, there aren’t enough stars to give them. The work is done professionally. From trimming, to mowing, to blowing, nothing was missed. The guys all communicated exceptionally well. If they felt it didn’t need a full service, due to lack of growth, they’d ask me on how I’d like to approach it. They didn’t just come in and roll over it to get a full service pay. Again, that speaks to the integrity of not only them, but JD and his expectations for the company as well. I’ve let JD know previously that his guys are doing an excellent job of representing him.
I know this was not a humongous project (it’s 1/2 acres of mowing), but I felt the need to provide this review because of the service that I received. To anyone that may be inquiring about using JD and Yard Sharks, I 100%, unequivocally recommend them. In fact, I’ll be using JD again in the future when I have surgery on the other shoulder. Hard to find people like this. Extremely hard-working and honest beyond what you normally see. If something is missed or forgotten they corrected 100% of the time without question. Highly highly highly recommend them and easily the best Lawn Care company I’ve ever worked with. We’ve been using them for several years now.
We’ve had Yard Sharks out a few times to handle the wild pasture area on our land and they always do a great job. Very respectful of the areas we ask them to avoid, making sure to avoid the plants that we want to encourage to grow. We are always happy with how good our land looks and the pricing is very reasonable. Definitely recommend!
JD is highly responsive and communicative and his crew works quickly. They did a great job cleaning up my mother in law’s house to get it ready for sale. We were a little apprehensive to spend that much money knowing we were selling but the end result was worth every penny. On a side note, Yard Sharks has been providing yard maintenance to my MIL for years and not only have they repeatedly done a great job and followed her instructions, they are all just kind people who always treated her with care and respect. She always talked so fondly of them and now I know why. Thank you, Yardsharks!

This company, screwed up my yard. Ran Into my car. Ran over a rock and made a crack in my house window then left without saying anything.

We are in Weatherford, Tx and have been made aware there is another company that is using our name.
I have never ran into a car, and have always paid for any broken windows as that does happen when rocks are buried in tall grass. Yet I still pay for the repairs.
We put the crew to work, basically regrading 1/4 acre, and removing another 1/4 acre of assorted detritus, and digging out 4 planter beds around the house.
The guys were on the spot, all day. If I said "do this", they were already on their way. Everyone was super helpful and incredibly respectful, as well as having a lot of hustle.
We have more work coming up in the autumn, and we'll be calling Yard Sharks again

I'd like to say the quality of their customer service is great. The nice gentleman JD Mitchell gives spot on customer service and quotes are so reasonable. I'm sorry I couldn't use them I've had a rough year but he was so understanding and nice. Also he keeps in contact if you have concerns or questions. The worst service and completely unprofessional. Attempted to charge 3X more than anyone else to cut the grass. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Excellent! Our property was very overgrown and needed much more than just a mow. They had all the equipment to tackle the job and did excellent work. Our neighbors were so impressed with the transformation that they asked Yard Sharks to do their yard also. The customer service was great too and they even sent us update photos of the progress since we weren’t home.
These guys were a fast, professional, hard working crew that COMPLETELY transformed our yard! They do beautiful work at a fair price! I HIGHLY recommend calling them out for a quote!!!!

JD and his team at Yard Sharks are problem solvers! They cleared land and hauled junk off a hoarder property I purchased. Brush clearing, dead tree removal, tree trimming, deck repair…I’m probably forgetting some of what they did. But they were very helpful, easy to work with, fairly priced and provided creative solutions.

JD is very knowledgeable and well rounded in what it takes to have a flat level yard.. he removed some trees, the flattened and sloped the yard. Then he installed a irrigation system.. my yard Is almost not noticeable to me.. great people to work with.. highly recommended

5 star work these guys do...but, do not expect some run of the mill lawn maintenance company, they are a bit pricey, but that is because they do a excellent job and will go above and beyond to make your yard/property look great. Great customer service as well! I Would recommend YARD SHARKS to anyone in the Parker County area who wants a great looking maintained yard.

I won't be using anyone else for our lawn care. I had scheduled to have my lawn taken care after many weeks of rain caused major overgrowth. I arranged to leave cash under our flower pot as that is what I have done in the past for other's that have mowed my grass. The money was stolen off our porch. After explaining this to the owner J.D. and letting him know I did not have the money for his guys to mow due to the thieves he said they would still mow and we could work something out. The next day J.D. himself came and mowed my lawn. He did a great job and my yard is clean cut. When I asked him what did I owe, he said nothing. He said, "I paid they just didn't get the money and the person(s) that took it must have needed it more than him and I." This speaks volume for what kind of business owner he is. I will be telling everyone that will listen to use his business for their lawn care.
